A Journal

"I'm going to come back to West Virginia when this is over. There's something ancient and deeply-rooted in my soul. I like to think that I have left my ghost up one of those hollows, and I'll never really be able to leave for good until I find it. And I don't want to look for it, because I might find it and have to leave".----Breece D'J Pancake, in a letter to his mother.

My life story is the story of everyone I've ever met. Facebook deterred me from studying and led me to compare my life with others only to end up hating the entire world after doing so. But I digress. That quote will always ring true when I think of who I am.  I believe stories are the essence of life. Regardless of the medium, we are constantly telling some sort of story in our everyday life.

I am 24, born in Vietnam, moved to Los Angeles at the age of 5, which was when I stopped drinking beer because I was not of legal age. I picked up a camera at the age of 4, and started singing before I could even walk. I was a child prodigy. My first word was "creative." Don't be amazed because I am only joking. I have no natural talents (except being able to eat endless amounts of Korean BBQ). However, others have called me "brave" (I call it stupidity) for trying new things and taking many leaps of faith.

I am 24, and I can't tell you where I'll be in five or ten years from now. All I can say is that it will be a comedy.
